Glenn graduated from TMHS in 1975 and Nichols College in 1980. He was fortunate to begin his coaching career as an assistant boys basketball coach at TMHS under Jim Naum in 1983 and 1984. While at TMHS he became the head girls soccer coach from 1983-1985. Then he took over the boys soccer team from 1986-87. During the spring he coached the boys baseball team at Putnam High School winning the QVC championship in 1986. Moving on to the collegiate level, Glenn started his college coaching career as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Nichols College from 1984-86. From there he became an assistant men’s basketball coach/equipment coordinator at Assumption College from 1986-89. Next Glenn moved across the city of Worcester to become assistant men’s basketball coach at Holy Cross from 1989-92. Glenn moved on to become a men’s assistant basketball coach at Bryant College from 1992-2001.
After 17 years coaching on the men’s side, he made the move to the women’s side in the fall of 2002. Glenn was fortunate to be hired as the top women’s basketball assistant coach at Boston University for the 2002-2003 season. In the summer of 2003, he became the Head Women’s Basketball Coach / Assistant Athletic Director at Mitchell College from 2003-2005. In 2006 Glenn became an assistant coach at the University of Albany. From 2006 - 2014 Glenn served as an assistant coach at Central Connecticut State University. From CCSU he became the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Rhode Island College from 2014-2017. Glenn has served as the Athletic Director at Putnam High School since 2017.
