Vincent Varrecchione is in his first year as Athletic Director of Fitch High School. Vincent comes to Fitch after having worked as an administrator, teacher and coach in the state of Rhode Island. Vincent has held the school administrative positions of: middle school and high school Assistant Principal, Physical Education Director, and Director of Athletics while in Rhode Island.
As a teacher, Vincent has taught Physical Education and Health Education for all grade levels K12. Vincent has coached many sports while teaching including: football, basketball, baseball, softball and golf. His favorite memory as a coach is when his 1996 girls’ basketball team won the division 3 state championship in double overtime at the then, Providence Civic Center. That same year, he was named Coach of the Year in his division. Vincent holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Health Education from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a School Administrative Certification from Providence College. Vincent resides in North Kingstown, Rhode Isand with his wife, Heidi of 28 years. They have two grown children.
