"As an alum, my goal is to bring to the athletic department all that I have learned here as a student-athlete, coach and administrator. I have lived the tradition of excellence that has been associated with St. Bernard. I am committed to that strong presence of Saints athletics in Eastern Connecticut and beyond. Striving for the best from our student-athletes has always been the goal at St. Bernard." Personal Notes: Live in Mystic with my husband of 38 years. We are high school sweethearts having met on the SBS cross country team. We have 2 children and 2 grandsons. We adopted a Golden Retriever puppy in August and love having a dog in the house again. In the summer, we enjoy spending time with family and friends on the water, and sailing our boat. Professionally, I am most proud of: Coaching: XCountry in Preps - 11 time Founders’ League Champ, 1 time NE Champs Track & Field in Preps - 9 time Founders’ League Champ, 1 time NE Champs Trailside Camp - having spent 10 years as owner and director of a girls only distance running camp in Killington, Vermont. Kelly Perkins (SB trainer) worked with me and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had - working with other like minded coaches on empowering girls as runners. Building or renovation projects: At Loomis, I was on several building committees. Very active on a multi-million dollar gym renovation which included a fitness center, classroom, locker room, etc. Also, was head project manager for a new 8-lane track. While at Miss Porter’s on the building committee for a new pool and international squash court facility and head project manager for renovations of the gym which included, installing hardwood floors, bleachers, rock climbing wall, fitness center and rowing room. Most recently, project manager for the renovations of the SBS training room and gym which included floor, bleachers, hoops, scoreboards and lighting.
